Even though the Penn State Nittany Lions' offensive line is already a force to be reckoned with heading into the 2025-26 season, its starters won't be there forever.
Penn State has a huge weekend ahead in the official visit season for the class of 2026. After a lull on the recruiting end since the start of June, the offensive side of the ball has some key recruits coming to Beaver Stadium.
OL - Immanuel Iheanacho
By far the hard-hitter of the crew, Iheanacho is a 5-star recruit out of Baltimore, Maryland. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, the Georgetown Preparatory School offensive lineman is ranked No. 8 overall, No. 2 in his home state, and is the No. 1 lineman overall.
Even though he's visiting Penn State, now considered one of his top four schools, the Nittany Lions are still competing with Big Ten rival Oregon and two SEC schools, LSU and Auburn. He visited the the SEC teams on May 30 and June 6, respectively, and has Oregon lined up last for June 20.
TE - Brayden Fogle
Now the Nittany Lions have a strong tight end crew already, but they haven't been able to land a solid recruit from the class of 2026 in this position.
Fogle, a 4-star recruit out of Mansfield, Ohio, is No. 163 overall, No. 7 in his state, and the No. 10 tight end overall. Penn State is the last school the Lexington High School tight end has scheduled to visit.
Out of his 27 offers, Penn State is among the top five he's likely to commit to. The Nittany Lions will be going up against Georgie, LSU, Notre Dame, and Ole Miss for the recruit in hopes of landing their first class of 2026 tight end.
OL - Charlie Thom
The Avon, Connecticut native isn't a new face to Penn State. Last week, according to PennLive, the unranked offensive tackle was on an unofficial trip and worked out in front of offensive lineman coach Phil Trautwein.
Though Thom is unranked and considered a 3-star prospect outside of the Composite rankings, that doesn't mean he can't make an impact and grow with the Nittany Lions.
He has yet to officially commit to Penn State with Boston College still in the mix for consideration, but lining up an official visit may be good news for Nittany Lions.
RB - Brian Bonner
Penn State's commit in Messiah Mickens doesn't make Bonner a must-grab in the class of 2026, but adding a 4-star recruit certainly won't hurt. The Valencia High School running back is No. 105 overall, No. 13 in California, and the No. 7 overall in his position.
According to PennLive, running backs coach Stan Drayton visited Bonner in Valencia, California a few months ago in hopes of sparking some interest. Now all Penn State has to worry about is the rest of the four schools Bonner narrowed his 28 offers to: Notre Dame, Nebraska, UCLA, and Washington.
OL - Benjamin Eziuka
Eziuka is one of the two commits visiting the Nittany Lions this weekend. The 3-star recruit from Catholic Central High School in Novi, Michigan is No. 599 overall, No. 11 in his state, and the No. 52 interior offensive lineman.
His commitment came too late for him to join the class of 2026 crew that visited two weeks ago, but his camp performance gave him an opportunity to declare and schedule his time to get comfortable at Penn State.
LB - Terry Wiggins
Wiggins is the second commit visiting this weekend. Though his May 2 commitment allowed him to join the larger group two weeks ago, he needed to reschedule.
Branching away from the offensive side of the ball, the 4-star recruit from Coatesville Area High School is No. 343 overall, No. 9 in Pennsylvania, and the No. 24 linebacker.
Since recruitment has dipped for the Nittany Lions, an offensive-packed weekend could be what they need to get back into the swing of things.
